early education at Ponteix COnvent School, high school at Sacred Heart Regina--winning a competitive university scholarship to Saskatoon. She worked thereafter at the Dept of Health as a medical laboratory technician and was admitted to the school of medicine and surgery, University of Melbourne, intending to specialize in pediatrics. From Feb 1947 to Aug 1948 she studied while living with her Auntie May Drysdale as 123 Park, SOuth Yarra. Spent some time working in the nursing profession? but returned to Canada after her mother had some medical issues.
Personal Life & Family

As soon as Michael entered school, she returned to Brock University to obtain a teaching certificate--was among the first to implement the new core french curriculum. Several years later she worked in a french medical office in Welland as an assistant (blood tests, ecg's etc) Sang in church choir Taught macrame, crochet, knitting

In 1926, in the year that Marcia Moloney Sarchese was born, on October 31st, Harry Houdini died in Michigan. Houdini was the most famed magician of his time and perhaps of all time, especially for his acts involving escapes - from handcuffs, straitjackets, chains, ropes slung from skyscrapers, and more. He was president of the Society of American Magicians and stringently upheld professional ethics. He died of complications from a ruptured appendix. Although he had received a blow to the area a couple of days previously, the connection between the blow and his appendicitis is disputed.
