Most of her childhood before she moved to Arizona is of memories of her Italian Grandmother and Grandfather. Her father remarried after her mother died from breast cancer. Her Stepmother was Christine Serafine. Unfortunately, her father died before he could divorce Christine. She was living with her grandparents on the evening that her father passed away. It was the evening of Thanksgiving, 1973. She came to live with her Aunt and Uncle in Arizona. She married her high school sweetheart in 1979 and the relationship ended in 1994. She remarried Mitchell Edward Nicolaisen on JUne 23, 2000. The marriage is strong and they continue to be together today.
