    Madeline Ann Nonette, 71, departed this life on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at her residence. She was born September 1, 1944, to Anthony and Josephine Giovinazzo in Brooklyn, New York. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles La., and retired from Lake Charles American Press after many years of service. Madeline was a member of Saint Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry Altar Society, Catholic daughters, Court #695, Red Hat Society, Foster Grandparent Volunteer, Catholic Charities Volunteer and completed her Cursillo #299. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Derek Guidry of Houston, Tx, David (Tameka) Nonette, Jr. of Lake Charles, La., Mechal (Ottric) Lyman of Jacksonville, FL, Vanessa Nonette Mathais, and Monesha Nonette of Sacremento, CA; eleven grandchildren, Tamika, Gabriel, Faith, Derek, Christian, Ottric, Jr., Thereon, Dasia, David, III, D’Vonte, and Brittany; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Nonette, Sr., and her parents, Anthony and Josephine Giovinazzo. Visitation will be held at King’s Funeral Home, on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 8:00 a.m. to 10:40 a.m., with a Cursillo Rosary at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at St. Henry Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King’s Funeral Home.
