Mabel Yeaman died at age 62 years old on November 17, 1963 in Danville, Pittsylvania County, and was buried on November 19, 1963 at Highland Burial Park N Main St, in Danville.

    Miss Yeaman Dies At Her Home Miss Mabel Clair Yeaman died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at her Danville Rt. 3 home. She had been in declining health for the past five years. Death apparently resulted from a cerebral hemorrhage. Miss Yeaman was a native of Pittsylvania County, born Aug. 19, 1901. She was a daughter of the late Isaac James Yeaman and Eliza Richardson Yeaman. Most of her life was spent in the Mt. Hermon community. Miss Yeaman was a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: John G. Yeaman and Joseph D. Yeaman, both of Danville; Byron O. Yeaman and H. Jesse Yeaman of Danville Rt. 3; Mrs. M. E. Adams of Pullman, Wash.; Mrs. Ora Braswell, Danville Rt. 3; Mrs. Myrtle Hudson of Roanoke, and Mrs. Laila Bartee, Danville. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will be at the residence, Danville Rt. 3.
