Mabel (Braim) Ardlie of Geelong, Greater Geelong City County, VIC Australia was born in 1872 in South Melbourne, Port Phillip City County to John Braim and Bessie Barry (Knight) Braim. She had siblings Amy Braim, John Braim, and Ethel Maud Chadwick. She married Ernest Leslie Ardlie, and had children Bessie Eileen (Ardlie) Dix, Cecil Braim Ardlie, Ivan Geoffrey Ardlie, Nancy Mabel Leighton Ardlie, and Gordon Gerald Ardlie. Mabel Ardlie died at age 87 years old in 1959 in Geelong, Greater Geelong City County.

Still seaworthy, under partial sail, and with one lifeboat missing, what happened on her is still a mystery.
