Louisa (Ernstberger) Hilbert of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania United States was born on November 3, 1885 in Philadelphia, and died at age 29 years old on June 23, 1915 in Philadelphia.
I have an old studio photograph of Louise ERNSTBERGER which was taken at the C. Myland Studio in Philadelphia, PA. It appears to have been taken in the early 1900’s with Louise likely in her 20’s at the time. A note on the back also indicates that Louise was a “Friend of Edith HENDERSON HEWITT”. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Louise and her family:
Louisa ERNSTBERGER was b. 3 Nov 1885 in Philadelphia, PA to parents William of Wenzel C. ERNSTBERGER (b. 1844 in Austria) and Emilie SCHMITT (b. 1846 in Austria). Louisa married Otto Frederick HILBERT (1885-1979) on 29 Nov 1911 in Philadelphia, PA and they had a daughter, Evelyn HILBERT (b. 1914). Louisa died 23 Jun 1915 in Chestnut Hill, PA of Pulmonary Tuberculosis and she was buried in the Greenmount Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
I would like to get this photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.
Thanks,
Shelley
