Louisa A. Leeke was born on November 4, 1833 in Washtenaw County, Michigan United States to Horace Leek and Louisa Goodyear, and had siblings David Leeke, Emily Leek, Delia Leeke, Horace Leeke Jr., Goodyear Leeke, Thomas J. Leeke, Malinda Leeke, Charlotte Rhoda Leeke, Henry A. Leeke, and Mary Leeke. Louisa Leeke died at age 86 years old on October 30, 1920 in Daneville, and was buried in November 1920 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Waterloo, Jackson County.
