  • Introduction

    His mother was never married to his father. They had three children though, so they must have had a long term relationship. Louis was the eldest, born april 1876. Then came Hilda Mary 1878- died march 1879 and the youngest Hilmar Marius born in 1880. His father married another woman Caroline in 1887 and moved to Oslo, where he had at least five children. Louis and his siblings were christened in their fathers name and also had a small inheritance, but then Louis was already dead and my father received nothing. Their mother died suddenly in Trondheim in 1891, january. Louis and his brother, then 15 and 11 years old lived with his aunt, sister of Nicoline, married Næss in Absalon Beyersg. In Bergen.

Leif Stiansen was not Louis brother or father, but his son. And hebwas not Hilmars son but his nephew.
