Louis married Marietta "Mary" Gala (1893 - 1982) and they had a son, Vincent Facciuto (1916 - 2004) and two daughters, Giselda and Vincenzella.

    FACCIUTO SERVICES SET IN CALIFORNIA Requiem High Mass for Louis Facciuto, father of Mrs. Albert Del Favero of Nashville, will be tomorrow in Alhambra, California at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Facciuto died Friday night at an Alhambra hospital. Del Favero, his son-in-law, is chief engineer here in charge of operations domestic and abroad of Oman Construction Company. Facciuto was a retired executive of Sieberling Rubber Company, Akron, Ohio. - The Tennessean (Nashville, Tennessee) Sunday, December 6, 1964 on page 46.

Pearl Harbor is on the island of Oahu, a part of the Hawaiian Islands. The Navy was given direction to maintain "a coaling and repair station" at the harbor.

In 1910, Louis was 23 years old when Halley's comet, which returns past the earth every 75 - 76 years was observed photographically for the first time. Two fortuitous events occurred - photography had been invented since the last time the comet had passed and the comet was relatively close. There was panic because one astronomer claimed that the gas from its tail "would impregnate the atmosphere and possibly snuff out all life on the planet." People bought gas masks, "anti-comet pills" and "anti-comet umbrellas".
