Leopoldine Blaine (Damrosch) Howard was born on March 10, 1899 in Hartsdale, Westchester County, New York United States to Walter Johannes Damrosch and Margaret Gretchen Damrosch, and had siblings Anita Blaine Littell, Gretchen Blaine Finletter, and Alice Damrosch. She married Sidney Coe Howard on January 10, 1931 in New York City, New York County, NY, and they were married until Sidney's death on August 23, 1939 in Tyringham, Berkshire County, MA. She had children Sidney Damrosch Urquhart, Walter Damrosch Howard, and Margaret Helen Damrosch Howard. Leopoldine Howard died at age 65 years old on December 1, 1964 in New York City, New York County, NY, and was buried on December 5, 1964 at Tyringham Cemetery in Tyringham, Berkshire County, MA.
