  • Introduction

Leonard Edward Opack (Opachinsky was the original family name), was a beloved son, brother and my Uncle Lenny. He always planned to become a medical doctor, but anti-semitism rules, prohibited his dream. Instead, he became a dentist and dental surgeon. His career was exemplary! He left the family home daily, in Philadelphia, for his office in Marcus Hook. Although he never married or had children, he provided for his parents and sisters financially, throughout their lives. When his mother, Sadie, a widow, living in Atlantic City, NJ, needed a new home, he purchased an upscale condominium, nearby in Ventnor City, where she lived for the rest of her life.
