She was my grandmother (Mother of my Mother, Barbara Ann Pigate Lamb). My grandmother was very proper, reserved, Christian lady, and worked really hard her whole life to make sure her children were taken care of. She was of German descent (Vause was her maiden name). She instilled her remarkable traits to my Mom as well as my Uncles and Aunts. She had a huge impact on my life. We all are still a very close family. As a child our family would gather each Sunday after church and have Sunday dinner. My grandmother and grandfather (Hoyt Pigate) had 7 children plus grandchildren each Sunday after church. I would give anything if she and granddaddy were still here and I could continue to receive wisdom from them.
