Lena M. Gaddini, 101, of Milton, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Heartwarming House in Milton, WI. Lena was born on March 13, 1911, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Elisa and Jacob Martini. Lena married Nello Gaddini in 1927. Lena married Nello Gaddini in 1927. Lena worked for numerous businesses in Chicago, IL, before retiring from the Zenith Corporation. Lena was also responsible for several delicious “family” recipes, passed on to following generations.
Lena is survived by her sons: Rudy J. (Julie) Gaddini of Milton, WI and Lawrence (Francine) Hunter of Bloomingdale, IL. Lena was proud of her eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nello; her sisters, Ida Gaddini, Elanor Hunter and Mary Anichini; her son, Ronald (Rosemary) Gaddini; and her granddaughter, Cynthia Gaddini.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, MILTON with Fr. James Uppena officiating the service. A time of luncheon will follow and then burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 South Wolf Rd., Hillside, IL 60162. Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at the CHURCH from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service. ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES, MILTON are assisting the family with arrangements.
