She had siblings Martha (Dunn) Baily, Caleb Dunn, Samuel Dunn, Henry Dunn, Edward Dunn, Esther Mary Dunn, and Walter George Dunn. She married William Thomas Pearson in 1875, and had children Ethel Cassie Lavinia (Pearson) Edwards, William Thomas Stanley Pearson, Olga Mary Pearson Sammutt, and Ruby Myrtle Pearson. Lavinia Pearson died at age 48 years old on June 16, 1895 in Camberwell, City of Boroondara County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Boroondara General Cemetery 430 High St, in Kew.
