She had siblings Christopher Judd, Reuben Judd, Hilda Judd, Vera Evelyn Judd, Della Bedelia Judd, Francis Osborne "Frank" Judd, Thomas Judd, James Daniel "Jim" Judd, Ethel May (Judd) Evans, and Florence Louisa (Judd) Judge. Laura Kennedy married Charles William Kennedy in 1933, and died at age 84 years old in 1982 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County.

He bought a Winton, which he had seen in an advertisement in Scientific American. The Winton, built in Ohio, was made by hand and came with a leather roof, padded seats, gas lamps, and tires made by B.F. Goodrich.
