other siblings of louise and clara were velma whitman born may 22,1915 cleburne co.and died 1976 in pontiac,michigan and married vern williams 2.edna irene whitman june 23,1917 anniston,al and died july 7,1993 in ft.walton beach,fl and married 1935 in heflin,al to john hamlin 3.louie whitman born feb.4,1920 heflin,al and died march 3,1982 anniston,al and married willie mae pentacost on april 2,1941 in heflin,al they had thre children a daughter who married a mr.powers and a daughter who married a mr.downey and a son who married a miss woods.my grandfathers uncle alonzo stephens married martha clae v. whitman whos father was george edward whitman a brother of hiram strong whitman who was george washington whitmans grandfather.
