Larry Rankin died at age 70 years old on October 13, 2020 at Hufman, Texas in Harris County, and was buried on October 17, 2020 at Isabell Chapel in Mount Enterprise, Rusk County.

    Larry had two brothers, Jesse Rankin and John Rankin and one sister Janice Rankin-Hart. They were a very close family spending all their holidays together. They parents were Jesse Lee Rankin and Sybil King-Rankin. Mr. Rankin died in 1973 due to cancer. Mrs. Rankin lived until 2003 without her husband and never remarried. She died at her son and daughter in laws home in Tenaha, Texas in 2003. She was surrounded by her family.

Enterprise, Texas. Mr. Rankin died Tuesday, October 13, 2020, in Huffman, Texas. He was born September 5, 1950, in Conroe, Texas to Jesse Lee and Sybil King Rankin. He is preceded in death by his parents, spouse Dee Rankin, and brother and sister-in-law Jesse and Josie Rankin. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law Kenneth Rankin of Crosby, Texas and Phillip and Penny Rankin of Crosby, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law Stephanie and Max Brune of Crosby, Texas and Samantha and Cliff Goddard of Huffman, Texas; brother and sister-in-law John and Connie Rankin of Conroe, Texas; sister Janice Hart of Conroe, Texas; Grandchildren Riley Rankin, Kinley Rankin, Reyna Rankin, Jake and Angie Ponder, Taylor Brune, Trey Brune, Emily and Drew Steglich. Jesse Lee Rankin, and Sara Goddard; great grandchildren Harper and Luke Ponder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
