I didn't know Larry very well. I first met him when I discovered he was having an affair with my wife Shirley. I didn't find him all that impressive, he was an uneducated and willfully ignorant fellow inclined to drink constantly throughout the day. His favorite drink being Whisky and Coke. He managed to break up my marriage and was found to be abusive to my children which in retrospect isn't surprising since he apparently abandoned his previous wife and child several years earlier. After Shirley divorced him 6 months into their marriage, he became violent and began harassing my ex and children on at least a weekly and sometimes a daily basis. He came to a sad end when after one of his instances of harassment he attempted to elude police in a car chase and wound up crashing his vehicle and causing himself extreme bodily damage. As I understand it, he spent the rest of his life as an invalid with brain damage in a nursing home a victim of his own stupidity and arrogance. The one redeeming thing I find from this little tragedy is it made me believe in Divine Justice.
