Laila Virginia (Yeaman) Bartee was born on October 11, 1904 in Ringgold, Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States to Eliza Ann (Richardson) Yeaman and Isaac James Yeaman, and had siblings Edna James (Yeaman) Adams, John George Yeaman, Joseph Dameron Yeaman Sr., Martha Yeaman, Addie Jettie Yeaman, Hattie Amanda (Yeaman) Corbin, "Boss" Isaac Purofoy Yeaman, Ora Gustava (Yeaman) Braswell, Fitzhugh Lee Yeaman, Myrtle (Yeaman) Hudson, Mabel Clair Yeaman, Byron Olen Yeaman, and Humphrey Jesse Yeaman. She married James Austin Bartee on November 21, 1952 in Pittsylvania County, and they were married until James' death on June 11, 1973 in Danville. Laila Bartee died at age 81 years old on April 24, 1986 in Danville, Pittsylvania County, and was buried on April 26, 1986 at Highland Burial Park N Main St, in Danville.
