Kathleen Thelma (Alcock) Aburrow of Preston, City of Darebin County, VIC Australia was born in 1920 in Ararat, Ararat Rural City County to Stephen Edward Alcock and Mary Branfield Alcock. She had siblings Mary Elizabeth Alcock, Stephen Edward Alcock, Ethel May Alcock, Ruby Alice Alcock, Robert Charles Alcock, and Robert Jess Alcock. Kathleen Aburrow married Douglas Harold Aburrow in 1939, and died at age 85 years old on March 1, 2006 in Preston, City of Darebin County.

    The Herald Sun, Melbourne. 2nd March 2006. ABURROW. - Kathleen Thelma, On March 1, 2006, peacefully at Preston Nursing Home, aged 86. Wife of Doug ( dec.), mother of Douglas and Gordon. She is now resting in peace. No more pain. Sadly missed by all. Love Douglas and Gordon.
