Joseph Blackney of Middle Park, Port Phillip City County, VIC Australia was born on July 6, 1867 in Avoca, Pyrenees Shire County to James Blackney and Mary Ann (Dabb) Blackney. He had siblings Samuel Blackney, Emily Ann (Blackney) Quick, Alice Matilda (Blackney) Hawkins, Huldah Jane "Hilda" Blackney, Mary Blackney, Thomas Frederick Blackney, Ellen Inglis, Alfred James Blackney, William Henry Blackney, and John Ernest Blackney. He married Martha Chubb Blackney in 1892, and had children Dorothy Hart May Blackney, Elsie Ruth Blackney, and Annie Kathleen Blackney. Joseph Blackney died at age 63 years old on October 15, 1930 at Erskine St, in Middle Park, Port Phillip City County.
