A 15-yar-old Lily boy was killed by a car while inline skating Wednesday evening five miles south of London, Kentucky State Police said.
Jonathan David Sturdivant was turning a corner onto Fariston Road when he was struck by a 1991 Ford Explorer driven by Richard D. Jones, 18, also of Lily. Jonathan David was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police consider the crash an accident. No charges have been filed. Jonathan David, a student at South Laurel High School, was the son of David and Helen Sturdivant. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Laurel Funeral Home in London. Visitation is after 7 p.m. today.
