John Morris Wentling was born on October 3, 1872 in Alton, Illinois United States to Hiram Earl Wentling and Clara Etta (Thomas) Wentling. He was in a relationship with Eva Elvira (McCcarty) Winslow-Wentling, and had children William Lewis Wentling, Earl Ervin Wentling, Fred Grant Wentling, John Russell Wentling, Basil Theodore Wentling, Lloyd Miller Wentling, James Hiram Wentling, and Clara Etta Wentling. John Wentling died at age 43 years old on April 3, 1916 in Beaver City, Furnas County, NE, and was buried at Maple Creek Cemetery in Stamford.
