2ND Cousin William Richard Owen, son of Virgil Lee Owen took the FamilyTreeDNA Y-111 & Big Y DNA tests to confirm our Owen(s) male line and origin of Ancestor. DNA tests confirm this Owen(s) male line descends from Rev. Goronwy Owen of Wales & died in Brunswick, Virginia and his 3rd wife Joan Brown (m. 1st Simmons, m. 2nd Owens, m. 3rd Harrison). Their son John Lloyd Owen emigrated to North Carolina. Autsomal DNA tests confirm DNA Matches to the children of John Rowlett & Edith Day Jackson making John Lloyd Owen's wife a daughter of this Rowlett line.
