John George Yeaman was born on November 1, 1888 in Ringgold, Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States to Eliza Ann (Richardson) Yeaman and Isaac James Yeaman, and had siblings Edna James (Yeaman) Adams, Joseph Dameron Yeaman Sr., Martha Yeaman, Addie Jettie Yeaman, Hattie Amanda (Yeaman) Corbin, "Boss" Isaac Purofoy Yeaman, Ora Gustava (Yeaman) Braswell, Fitzhugh Lee Yeaman, Myrtle (Yeaman) Hudson, Mabel Clair Yeaman, Byron Olen Yeaman, Laila Virginia (Yeaman) Bartee, and Humphrey Jesse Yeaman. He married Cassie William (Hall) Yeaman on November 23, 1915 in Danville, and they were married until John's death on December 22, 1963 in Danville. John Yeaman was buried on December 24, 1963 at Highland Burial Park N Main St, in Danville.

    J. G. Yeaman Dies After Long Illness John George Yeaman died yesterday afternoon at 1:40 at Memorial Hospital. He had been in declining health for 10 years and a patient in the hospital for the past two weeks. Mr. Yeaman was a native of Ringgold, born Nov. 2, 1888. He was a son of the late Isaac James Yeaman and Eliza Ann Richardson Yeaman. Most of his life was spent in Danville where he was a mechanic and an electrician. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Parrish-Johnson Electric Co. for many years. In 1918 he married Miss Cassie Hall. Mr. Yeaman attended the Lee Street Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife and the following brothers and sisters: H. Jesse Yeaman, B. O. Yeaman, both of Danville Rt. 3, J. D. Yeaman of Danville, Mrs. Ora Y. Braswell of Danville Rt. 3, Mrs. J. A. Bartee of Danville Rt. 2. Mrs. W. J. Hudson of Roanoke, and Mrs. M. E. Adams of Pullman, Wash. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock from the Wrenn-Yeatts Chapel and interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The body will rest at the funeral home prior to the services and the family will be at the home of a brother, H. Jesse Yeaman at Blairs.
