    The following obituary appeared in the newspaper: Jock Osborn, owned a business Jock Lee Osborn, 53, died unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Danbury Hospital after all efforts at resuscitation had failed. He was born in Glens Falls, NY, on Aug. 27, 1955, to Richard and Barbara Osborn. He grew up in Redding and graduated from Joel Barlow High School, Class of 1973. He attended Dean College in Franklin, Mass., and Central Connecticut State College in New Britain. He worked in the ski department at Sports Authority in Danbury and was "president and CEO" of his successful landscaping business, "Jock of All Trades", his family said. In addition to his mother, Mr. Osborn is survived by his sisters, Jane and Cindy, brothers, Mark and Kip, and nephews, Niles, Alex and Dana Shroyer. "Uncle Jock will truly be missed," the family said. The family would like to invite Jock's friends for an informal celebration of his "unforgettable character" at the Redding Roadhouse this Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 8 p.m.
