Jerry has four children, his daughter Desiree from his first marriage to Barbara and three children from his second Marriage to Elayne Grammas. The eldest is Brett born 10/29/1975 then Jessica Nista born 9/22/1977 and his youngest daughter Taira Nista born 8/3/1982. Jerry has four granddaughters and four grandsons.
He was a very enthusiastic, charismatic outgoing man and he lived his life every day with a passion and joy for life, he was generous and humble. His character and personality left an impression regardless of how long you knew him, he was memorable. He lived with integrity and was secure in who he was. He loved to "feel" the music and allow it to move his body. He was loved being with his family and so proud of his "creation" his family and his love was unconditional.
To me, he was an incredible man and through my life growing up watching him he taught me so much more than I ever would have imagined. He still teaches me today, he is alive in my memory and I value all he has to offer. I feel very honored and blessed to have had him as my Dad, nothing or no one else can compare.
