The company that he worked for needed to find a way to control humidity and by solving this problem, Carrier created a system that could be used for cooling the rooms of a house. In 1913, when she was only 11 years old, the Philippine–American War ended for good in June. While the official end of the war was in 1902, fighting continued for several years.
