She had siblings Sarah Gertrude Lugton, Percy Fitzroy Lugton, Constance Emily (Lugton) Evans, Dorothea Maorcombe Lugton, Ernest Lonsdale Lugton, and Joseph Alexander Lugton. Jane Ryan died at age 85 years old on April 15, 1972.

A wrought iron lattice tower, it was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel - who also contributed to the building of the Statue of Liberty.
