Lt. James Vernon Rutledge, USN. James Vernon and Mildred Catherine ISAACS Rutledge were the parents of James Robert Rutledge, John David Rutledge and Charles Steven Rutledge. The home was at 460 East 46th Street in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a pilot in the U.S. Navy having served in World War II, Korean War and the Cuban Missle Crisis. He retired as a Commander after having served 32 years. He flew PBY2, PB4Y and P2V's. Squadrons included: VP-741 and VP-16 at NAS Jacksonville, FL. Please see:
