James was baptized on February 26, 1899 at Church of St. Augustine in Stepney. James Pitchfork died at age 18 years old on April 6, 1918 in France, and was buried at Le Cateau Military Cemetery I. B. 15. in Le Cateau-Cambrésis, Hauts-de-France County, Nord.
