Irmina (Gottlieb) Koch of Bingen, RP Germany was born on November 26, 1904 in Bad Kreuznach, RP to Emil Gottlieb. She had a sister Hedwig (Gottlieb) Heymann. She married Ludwig Koch, and they were married until Ludwig's death in 1977. Irmina Koch died at age 89 years old in 1993 in Bingen am Rhein, Germany.

Attended by nearly 19.7 million people (and later the subject of a Judy Garland film), the Fair was funded by federal, state and local sources to the tune of $15 million.
