She was in a relationship with Frederick Hewitt, and had children Winston Frederick Hewitt, Vera Olive (Hewitt) Graham, and Stanley George Hewitt. Ida Hewitt died at age 71 years old on January 18, 1965, and was buried at Fawkner Memorial Park 1187 Sydney Rd, in Hadfield, City of Moreland County, VIC Australia.
