Humphrey Jesse Yeaman was born on July 10, 1906 in Ringgold, Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States to Eliza Ann (Richardson) Yeaman and Isaac James Yeaman, and had siblings Edna James (Yeaman) Adams, John George Yeaman, Joseph Dameron Yeaman Sr., Martha Yeaman, Addie Jettie Yeaman, Hattie Amanda (Yeaman) Corbin, "Boss" Isaac Purofoy Yeaman, Ora Gustava (Yeaman) Braswell, Fitzhugh Lee Yeaman, Myrtle (Yeaman) Hudson, Mabel Clair Yeaman, Byron Olen Yeaman, and Laila Virginia (Yeaman) Bartee. He married Grace Mae (Tate) Yeaman on April 4, 1931 in Danville, and they were married until Humphrey's death on January 20, 1991 in Pittsylvania County. Humphrey Yeaman was buried on January 22, 1991 at Highland Burial Park N Main St, in Danville.

    Humphrey J. Yeaman Humphrey Jesse Yeaman, 84, of Route 7, died Sunday at his home. Born July 10, 1906, in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of Issac Yeaman and Eliza Richardson Yeaman. He owned and operated Yeaman Motor Co. and was a deacon and active trustee of Mount Hermon Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Poquoson Tribe of the Improved Order of Red Men No. 124. He was married to Grace T. Yeaman, who survives. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Carroll Yeaman, Jesse Yeaman Jr. and Kenneth S. Yeaman, all of Danville; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Hermon Baptist Church by the Rev. Don Davidson. Interment will be in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
