George Homer Carroll. He was a veteran of World War II, having enlisted at Fort McClellan, Alabama, in March of 1945. Huey Carroll married Mattie Lucile Powell (1918 - 2005) and they had one daughter.

The Lusitania was a British passenger ship that was sailing from New York to Liverpool England. She sank in 18 minutes - 1,198 died and 761 survived.
