She married Henry Chennell Mitchell in 1908, and had children Margaret Mary Mitchell, Hughena Maude Mitchell, and Stella Jean Mitchell. Hughena Mitchell died at age 82 years old in 1961 in Hawthorn, City of Boroondara County.
