Hubert Leslie Primrose was born on November 14, 1882 in Cootamundra, Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council County, NSW Australia to Charles Herman Burton Primrose and Sarah Maria (Clissold) Primrose, and had a brother Herman Burton Primrose. He was in a relationship with Edith Garfield (Briton) Primrose, and had children Tony Primrose, Brian Hubert Briton Primrose, Patricia (Primrose) Bisset, and Audrey (Primrose) Pike. Hubert Primrose died at age 60 years old on November 26, 1942 in Waverton, North Sydney Council County, and was buried at Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium 199 Delhi Rd, in North Ryde, City of Ryde County.

    The Sydney Morning Herald. 27th November 1942. DEATH OF ALDERMAN H. L. PRIMROSE. Alderman H. L. Primrose, formerly Minister in charge of National Emergency Services, died at his home in North Sydney, yesterday. From 1932 until his defeat at the last elections, Alderman Primrose was U.A.P. member for North Sydney in the Legislative Assembly. He was an Assistant Minister in the Stevens Government, and for a time was Acting Minister for Health. He was an Alferman for the North Sydney Council for 20 years, and was Mayor for six years. He was a member of the firm of Primrose and Primrose solicitors. Mr. Primrose is survived by Mrs. Primrose, two sons - Squadron Leader Primrose, A.F.C. and Lieutenant Brian Primrose, A.I.F., who is missing in Timor, and two daughters, Mrs. J. Grieg Bisset, and Mrs. Alan Pike.

Bisset ), and Twink ( Mrs. A. Pike ). Aged 62 years.
