He was a generous, hardworking, loving man
Houston "RED" Wilhoit had a 8th grade education and was on his own since he was 15. He met his future wife, at the age of 30, at a dance at her Catholic church. Houston was a Baptist, but became a Catholic when he married Helen Jean Schneider, in 1952 in Kentucky. Together they had 5 children, Stephen, Geraldine, Gary, Mary Ellen, and Frances Wilhoit. Together Red and Helen built a successful tree business, Cincinnati Tree and Landscaping. He had may grandchildren, Bill, Buddy, Brian, Angela, Houston, David, Michael, Martin, and Jenny. Red was an all-around good person, with a positive attitude for life.
