Colonel Roscoe Turner - Plane Presentation
Colonel Roscoe Turner, presenting a red high wing monoplane to a representative (Hilda Yen) of the Friends of New China.

Roscoe Turner was the winner of many air speed trophies, Hilda Yen was a Chinese aviatrix. The gift of an airplane to the Friends of China (the plane was named "The Spirit of New China") was made possible by the Porterfield factory, which built the plane.
