I will never forget this day. EVER! The day I received my settlement. Me and my mother decided to go shopping. She was in need of a new car. I spoiled my mother this day. We went shopping for clothes first. I gave her five grand to buy whatever she wanted. She spent about two grand n tried to give the rest back. She kept thanking me over n over. We went to lunch, the meal was decent, but her smile she wore was priceless lol. After lunch I surprised her with going new car shopping. I told her to pick out whatever she wanted n not to worry about the price. She about hit the floor. At first she said no she couldn't. I told her it was my gift to her for being there when I needed her most. She was so happy n finally found the brand new Kia she wanted. We had our pictures taken together in front of her new vehicle. She cried. I felt bad for making her cry, but was so happy I made her happy. She was my best friend, my teacher and my mother. I was happy I could repay her with a smile just like she has always given me.
