Hermelinda (Singleterry) Cuebas was born on October 22, 1937 in Hidalgo County, Texas United States to Santos Singleterry Sr. and Magdalena (Yanez) Singleterry, and had siblings Viola (Singleterry) Herrera, Lidia Singleterry, Santos Singleterry Jr., Lidia Singleterry, and Maria De La Luz (Singleterry) Ramos. She married Damian Guadalupe Herrera on August 2, 1963 and they later divorced on May 27, 1970 in Williamson County. She would also marry Santiago “Jimmy” Cuebas on May 30, 1972 in Williamson County, TX and they later divorced on November 22, 1977. Hermelinda Cuebas died at age 86 years old on October 24, 2023.
