He married Henrietta Susan Brown Ord in 1884, and had children George Henry Ord, Lillian Caroline Ord, William Martin Ord, Percival Leslie Ord, Henrietta Isabel Ord, and Mildred Olive Ord. Henry Ord died at age 68 years old on July 20, 1930 in Mount Cole.
