Chastang, Lynda Chastang, and Demetria Chastang January. He married Clementine Roberts Chastang, and they had children Cheryl Chastang Carter, Jane Yvette Marie Chastang, LaVerna Chastang, Alva L. Chastang, William H. "Billy" Chastang, and Thomas L. Chastang. Henry Chastang died at age 85 years old on March 13, 2012 at Infirmay Hospital West in Mobile, and was buried on March 17, 2012 at Catholic Cemetery of Mobile Dr. MLK Avenue, in Mobile, USA County.

Carter. He is survived by his children, daughters, Cheryl Chastang Carter, Mobile, AL, LaVerna Chastang, Baker, LA, Alva Chastang, Jane Chastang (Nathaniel) Stallworth, both of Mobile, AL, Lynda Chastang, Demetria Chastang January, both of Atlanta, GA, sons, William H. "Billy" Chastang, Juan H. Chastang, Thomas L. Chastang, all of Mobile, AL; ex-wife, Mary Chastang, Mobile, AL; one brother, Theodore Chastang, Mobile, AL; two nieces, Gloria Chastang-Goode, and Gwen Chastang, both of Mobile, AL; one nephew, Theodore Chastang, Jr., Los Angeles, CA; twelve grandchildren, Edwin J. (Karen) Chastang, Baker, LA, Alicia N. (Michael) Davis, Kendra L. Stallworth, Nathaniel L. (Melissa) Stallworth, Terrance C. (Donzettrice) Carter, Samuel L. (Katrina Hobson) Mitchell, Charles Sims, Derrick Sims, Daniel Stallworth, Sean E. Carter, all of Mobile, AL, Alunser Adams, III, and Byjzion Crawl, both of Atlanta, GA; twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; a devoted cousin and nephew, Mrs. Mozel Jones and Mr. Elmonese Vassel, both of Mobile, AL, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1703 Dublin Street, Mobile, AL. Father Jeremiah Brady, S.S.J., officiating pastor. Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery
