Helena Mae (Kuennen) Bodensteiner was born on May 12, 1864 in Saint Lucas, Iowa United States to Johan Bernard Kuennen and Anna Mae ‘Catharine' (Meyers) Kuennen. She was in a relationship with Henry Gehrard Bodensteiner I beginning February 3, 1888 in Saint Lucas, Fayette County, and had children Carl John Bodensteiner and Henry Gerhard Bodensteiner Sr.. Helena Bodensteiner died at age 81 years old on February 25, 1946 in Saint Lucas.
