    My grandmother was forbidden to marry the man she loved because he was a Catholic, so she married James Thomas TAYLOR and had two children. My Aunt Loris Agnes Taylor (who eventually married my Uncle Alfred Gordon Berg) and my Uncle Murray who died of emphysema in approx. 1956. Helena’s husband died in 1899 and she eventually married her Catholic, my grandfather, John Johnston EVANS. Helena was not and has never been a BERG.
