Harriett Jefferies died at age 76 years old in 1894 at Wandearah in Port Pirie Regional Council County, SA Australia, and was buried at Crystal Brook Cemetery 100 Huddleston Rd, in Crystal Brook, SA.

    The Express and Telegraph. S.A. 6th December 1894 JEFFERIES.- On the 29th November, at the residence of her daughter ( Mrs. R. Searle ), Wandearah, Harriet, the beloved wife of the late John Jefferies of Alford and Mallala, in her 77th year. Arrived on the ship Lysander in 1851.
