Introduction

GRANDMA TRUDELL PASSES Harriet P. Cunningham as born in Wheeling, West Virginia, October 29, 1841, and departed this life May 25, 1929, at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 26 days. She was married to Geo. H. Walser in 1858, and to this union two children, a son and daughter, were born. Mr. Walser died in 1910. She was again married to L. M. Trudell, who passed away in 1920. Mrs. Trudell became a Christian early in life, and was a member of the Christian church in Miltonvale, having lived here for the past twelve years. She had numerous friends and neighbors whom she loved and who loved her, as she was of a kind and pleasant disposition. She leaves to mourn her departure, her son, Mark Walser, of Napa, California, and one daughter, Mrs. Lena Todd, of Liberal, Missouri. There are seven grand children. Mrs. Stinson Hanson of Miltonvale, is a stepdaughter. Mrs Todd has been at her bedside for the past four weeks. The son was unable to be present. The family has the sympathy of many friends in the passing of a dear mother. Funeral services were held from the Christian church Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Meaders and the remains were laid to rest in the Miltonvale cemetery.
