She married Albert Alonzo Johnson, and they had children Loretta M. Johnson, Harry L. Johnson, Marjorie M. Otter, Darryl D. Johnson, Dennis D. Johnson, and Esther K. Cart. Harriet Johnson died at age 74 years old on August 12, 1992 in Elkhart, Elkhart County, and was buried on August 15, 1992 at Chapel Hill Cemetary in Osceola, Saint Joseph County.
