Harriet (Howard) Vipond 1870 - 1945

Harriet (Howard) Vipond was born on March 27, 1870 to John Howard and Mary (Eades) Howard, and had siblings William Howard, John Howard, George Edwin Howard, Elizabeth (Howard) Armour, and Alice Johnson. She was in a relationship with Thomas Borland Vipond, and had children Evelyn Alice Mary Bon (Vipond) Hanley, Lucille Elizabeth (Vipond) Heley, John Howard Vipond, George Richard Vipond, Florence Jean (Vipond) Waters, and Alexander Calder Vipond. Harriet Vipond died at age 75 years old on September 20, 1945, and was buried at Carlyle Cemetery in Rutherglen, Indigo Shire County, VIC Australia.

N.S.W. 25th September 1945. -OBITUARY- The death occurred at her son's residence, 74 Mitchell Street, Brunswick, Melbourne, on Thursday last, September 20, 1945, of Harriet Vipond, of 943 Mt. Alexander Road, Essendon, widow of the late Mr. Thomas Vipond, late of Springhurst. She is survived by her daughters, Bon ( Mrs. Hanley ), Lucy ( Mrs. Heley ), Jean ( Mrs. Waters ), and sons- Jack, Rex, George and Alex. Deceased was a sister of Mrs. Frank Johnson, of Aitken Street, Corowa, and of the late Mrs. T. H. Armour, Corowa. The funeral took place on Saturday last at the Carlyle Cemetery, Wahgunyah,.....
