Harriet Elizabeth (Evans) Ashenden was born in 1874 to Daniel C. Evans and Annie Marie (Robinson) Evans, and had siblings Lewis W. Evans and Frank Heath Evans. She married Thomas Edward Ashenden on January 14, 1894, and they were married until Harriet's death in 1905. Harriet Ashenden had children Eva M. (Ashenden) Murray and Lillian Marie (Ashenden) Lawton.
